The Trust provides assistance to dependants of police officers, in cases of officers, or former police officers who have died, or die as a result of an injury received in the execution of their duty and Police officers, or former police officers, who are or have been incapacitated as a result of an injury received in the course of their duties.

Citizens Rights for Older People is a charity that provides a free confidential lay advocacy service, and will speak on your behalf. CROP is supported by the Kent County Council, East Kent Health Authority and Maidstone Borough Council. They can assist with service complaints, filling in benefits forms and many other issues.

  Kent Benefits Partnership

The Kent Benefits Partnership is a service provided by the Councils in Kent to ensure that pensioners only pay the council tax due and no more. Members could be paying too much if they pay council tax AND claim a state pension AND have less than £16,000 in savings.

WORDSHOP BENEFIT INFORMATION


Following the retirement of Angela Maxwell our current benefits advisor, we have negotiated a   replacement service for members through a company called Wordshop. The company will provide    this Benefits Information Service direct to you in a similar way to that provided in the past by    Angela  Maxwell.


 Initially access to the Benefits Information Consultant will be by letter, fax or email although in   appropriate cases the Consultant may telephone the member following receipt of the initial   correspondence. We have included all the relevant required contact details below. Members   should include in the correspondence that they are NARPO members.
