  The following has been added to the branch Welfare Policy:

' That this Branch will appoint local Welfare Representatives for Medway and Swale areas under the co-ordination of the Secretary  who will ensure regular  contacts be maintained with those Welfare Representatives and with Kent Police, Kent Police Federation,  Kent Police Benevolent Fund, Police Dependants Trust,  Kent Police Welfare Department and any other body that may be required.  Should funds allow a small Christmas gift should be personally delivered to each  widow member of the Branch.'
