Who are we?
The National Association of Retired Police Officers (N.A.R.P.O.) represents retired Police Officers of all ranks from all police forces throughout England and Wales. It also extends cover to all Police widows. N.A.R.P.O. is a rank free association dedicated to improving benefits for all its members. The welfare of our members is of prime concern and our branch is on hand to give support and advice to those who request it. We offer a range of additional services to members including advice on pensions and other issues affecting their welfare and well being.
A branch based organisation, formed in 1919, N.A.R.P.O. still has local branches spread throughout England and Wales. Governance of the organisation is provided by a National Executive Committee elected on a regional basis. Rules and policy are considered by an annual conference in September each year, informed by the publication of an annual report.
In service, your interests were looked after by the Police Federation, which ceases on retirement. N.A.R.P.O. represents our members interests in their retirement.
Remember, we are the only organisation that was set up with a specific task in mind, that of looking after your interests and health. Only together can we work to change the life of retired Police Officers and Widows for the better. Most benefits apply to members only, so why not join today and feel part of our community and rest assured that we have your interest in hand.
If you have served and wish to join us, or just looking for more information, then drop us an email or write and we will get back to you. You can find our contact details and further information concerning both local and national issues within this site, plus links to other sites of interest to our members.
We thank you and hope you enjoyed your visit to our site . Please remember to check back for the most up to date information.
