Proposed Sheerness Sub Division Reunion Reunion

Dear all,

although in the early stages, plans are progressing well to hold a reunion event for ALL ex-colleagues who served on Sheppey during the period 1970 - 1990's. The event will take place on the island sometime during late September into October this year. Precise details are yet to be determined. Since 11th May, 2025, a dedicated Facebook site has been available for interested parties to join and link up with past colleagues (Sheerness Sub Division Reunion). So far the site has 30+ members although 106 names have been highlighted as being eligible by way of their past association with Sheppey policing.

Because 'Facebook' is only able to broadcast to those who have accounts and engage with the posts, would there be a means by which wider contact might be achieved through the agency of NARPO ? I am fully cognisant of the limitations imposed by Data Protection and would seek to achieve the maximum benefit of this planned event for NARPO members by any means supported by the' Association'.

Any advice or assistance that you may be able to contribute would be gratefully received.
