DEATH OF LIFE MEMBER

"It is with great sadness that I have to report the Death of Life Member Mr James Raymont on 17th August 2021 who was a long standing Committee Member and Life Member of the Branch. Known as Jim he was a very kind, humble and modest man who was held in great esteem within the Branch. Jim was only a few months from his 100th Birthday when he was taken ill and sadly passed away. Jim was a true gentleman in every sense of the word and will be greatly missed by us all. He was also a very talented organist who played at Canterbury Cathedral and at many other venues. His Funeral will take place at 12.15pm on Monday 6th September at Charing Crematorium and former colleagues are welcome to attend. Our heart felt condolences go to his family at the saddest of times".

Donations can be made via website https://jimraymont.muchloved.com/ and donations will go to The Pilgrim Hospice who looked after Jim in his final days
